Nico’s Weg is a movie that is intended to give people a lesson about the German language and culture from a tourist point of view where we don’t know a lot about them. The story of this movie takes place in Germany where a boy named Nico first arrived at German and along the way he learns about german language and culture.
It begins with the arrival of Nico at a German Airport where he wants to go to his aunt’s house, Yara Gonzales the owner of a bicycle store. While waiting for the taxi to arrive, he played with a little girl named Emma. But, he played too long and his bag was already gone. Emma's aunt, named Lisa Brunner, offered her a ride to find her bag. In the car, Nico introduces himself. His full name is Nico Gonzales. But, he cannot speak Deutsch very well, so Emma and Lisa guide him to speak Deutsch properly.
They stopped for a moment at the gas station to refuel the car. Then they met Max Stuhl, he's Lisa's friend. He met Nico and asked him some general questions. Nico tells him he was from Seville, Spain. He wanted to go to his aunt, who lives here in Germany. But, unfortunately, Nico's bag had gone to the airport and all he had left was the photo of his aunt. Max suggests that Lisa contact her father, Jurgen Brunner because he's a police officer, so maybe he can help Nico find his bag and take him to Yara.
At the police station, Jurgen said he would try to find Yara and her bike shop. In the meantime, Jurgen told Lisa to take Nico to the party at her house. Lisa's house is located in Wagnergasse.
There, Nico met Sebastian and Nina, who is Lisa's friends. After Nico introduced himself, they had lunch together inside the house. Then he met Naveen, who is also Lisa's friend who lived there with them. Naveen told him he was from Thailand.
At night the party took place. They had fun, like playing games, having a conversation, having dinner, etc. There, Nico also met another friend of Lisa's, Salma. She is from Damascus, Syria.
The next day, as Lisa was a teacher, she had to attend class and teach the German language to her student. In the afternoon Lisa and Nico were looking for Yara's bike store, but they couldn't find it. Lisa told Nico that he couldn't stay at home anymore, so she suggested that he find a young hostel, as it was cheaper than the hotel.
Lisa asked Nico to take care of Emma for a day, as she had another job that day. The next day, Nico came to work in a restaurant named Das Marek, which is owned by Max and Tariq, Lisa's friends. Then Lisa came and she told Nico that she didn't have a hostel for Nico. After hearing this, an old lady named Angie who is a costume designer there gladly offered to stay with her.
The next day, Jurgen came to Lisa's house and told Nico that he had found Yara's address. Then, Nico and Lisa had to go to Yara's address. While Nico was staying with Angie, Lisa, Sebastian, Nina, and Naveen were on vacation.
In Das Marek, Nico and Angie were having lunch. Nico also explained his hobbies, he enjoys playing football, swimming, listening to music, cycling and fishing too. Max replied that he also liked to fish, then he asked Nico to take a look at some pictures when he was fishing. Nico saw the photo of Yara hanging on the wall. He told Max that she was his aunt.
Max brought Nico and Angie to Yara's bike shop, so basically, Yara is Max's friend and they worked together. After that, Max asked Nico and Angie to buy food ingredients for their dinner. First, they went to a bakery to buy bread, then they went to the market to buy other needs.
Okay, so now we've moved on to Nico's bag point of view. So since the first time the bag went missing, it was actually picked up by the airport taxi. Then the bag was put there in front of the Konigshof hotel. After that, two homeless people took the bag and also took Nico's clothes from inside the bag. Then they put the bag in front of a large house near the sidewalk.
A few days later, Salma found the bag and she intended to return it to Nico. During this time, Nico was getting ready to buy bread at the bakery. Along the way, he met Salma and saw his bag on her. He thanked her and immediately checked the bag. He found that some of his clothes, including his favorite shirt, were missing. But luckily his passport and phone were still there.
After hearing this, Salma took him shopping. They went together and bought a lot of new clothes. They were very happy and appreciated. Then Salma gave him her phone number in case he wanted to do his shopping again next time.
When Nico arrived at Angie's house, Angie gave her clothes that belonged to her late husband, Gunther, but Nico wasn't really like those clothes. Then, Salma came to take her wallet which was taken with Nico. That night, Nico, Max, Tariq, and Jurgen, police went to Yara's bike shop to investigate where Yara was actually going. But, they got no results.
The next day, Nico was playing mini football with Max, Tariq, and their other friends. in the middle of the game, Nico was injured and had to be taken to the doctor. After receiving some treatments from Dr. Gruppi, Nico needs to rest and take some medication.
A few days later, when Nico was finally cured, Nico and Angie were having breakfast at Das Marek. Next, Tariq asked Nico if he wanted to accompany him to Yara's bike shop. Meanwhile, Salma and her family were finally allowed to live in Germany. At Yara's bike shop, Tariq told Nico his bike was broken, so he brought it to Yara. But, Nico can fix it himself, then Tariq thanked him for it. Later, Yara had finally arrived at her bicycle shop. She noticed that there were already Nico and Tariq waiting for her.
